Your constant pressure has already given rise to important changes: the EU Commission changed its mind to propose CETA as a ‘mixed’ agreement. This means that
Member State parliaments will also need to vote on CETA.
However, the battle is not over yet! Right now the Commission is trying to perform another trick to fast-track CETA. If our
governments accept it (and right now they seem ready to do so), over 90% of CETA would enter into force through a procedure called provisional application. In other words,
CETA could be put in action before it reaches the EP and national parliaments. To take action on this, we are introducing a new feature on the CETA CHECK! tool. In addition to Members of the European Parliament,
you can now also ask questions to your government representatives who will be responsible for this important decision!Since this is a crucial point in the timeline of the CETA ratification process, every single action to increase the pressure on decision-makers is very important. We will continue with our efforts to provide a space where
Your voice is heard – please make sure to use and share it.
How to ensure that ministers can’t ignore us? Click here to do the “CETA CHECK!" so we can make your voice loud enough! And don‘t forget that all this is only possible because of your continued support: If you want us to continue expanding the features and the outreach of this campaign, please consider

Best wishes from your Stop TTIP team,
